How Did I Test These 4 Render Farms?

I used the same scene across all 4 farms: a product turntable animation: 300 frames, 1080p, Cinema 4D 2026 + Octane X, with 2 HDRI lights and a reflective floor material. Total scene file size: 480 MB. I measured three things: total render time, total cost, and number of failed frames.

On my local workstation (RTX 3070), this scene took 5.5 hours. The fastest cloud farm (GarageFarm) cut that to 22 minutes – a 15× speedup. iRender took 32 minutes but saved me $5.30 compared to GarageFarm.

Why Was iRender the Cheapest for Octane Animation?
